Continuing the music theme.

My first single was Ghost Town by The Specials. Limited edition with a skeleton playing a piano on the front cover.
Thought I was the business.

It might as well rain until September - Carole King
(no idea why now though. my brother had just got a dansette record player, he was heavily into Brenda Lee (he was 6ft 1 and his girlfriend was 4 ft 10 so he kept up the theme)

Reward, The Teardrop Explodes.

i'm quite proud of this being my first ever single, still love it now and it's quite a cool record, considering it could have been pinky and perky, or something!!

Single was not too bad: Stand and Deliver, Adam and the Ants.

Did not start buying albums until much later in life but was proud that my first one was The Queen is Dead by The Smiths. That should have been in my top 5 really.

First single: Coolio, Gangsters Paradise.(don't ask why - I don't know!)
First Album: Michael Jackson, Bad.

First single Bohemian Rhapsody.

First album, Innervisions,Stevie Wonder I still listen every now and then and every track is perfect.
Where would JK be without this period of the great Stevie's work?

First one I asked for was hey jude, first one I actually bought was follow you follow me.

Many thousands followed as I started doing disco's in my mid teens, still have them in the loft. Can't bear to part with them.

Fire Starter, Prodigy. Never use to buy tapes etc I use to record the chart every Sunday and play that non stop for a week.
