Yes, she is a member at ours. Never come across her though. If I recall right Rachel Gourlay is a member of your place. Really superb golfer with a beautiful swing - she played with Lottie Woad when they won the Sunningdale Foursomes a few years ago and I had a few chats with her before and after the comp...a really nice lass.![]()
Well done yes must of been a great feeling, what 8 hybrid have you got? I’ve recently got a 6 and 8 hybrid so easy to hit, Eleven clubs are name of manufacturer. Our 15th, 138 yards, 8 hybrid, lovely shot, one bounce and in. Great feeling![]()
I'm pretty sure he would have put a bottle on the bar. That seems to be the thing to do now.How much was the bar bill.
Our 17 th par three 190 yds pin at the back. Today I put it 18” behind the hole it rolled inches past. Closest I have been in years

This brand name really annoys me. How confusing do you want it to be. Is it 9 or 11?Callaway Rogue ST Max OS, have got the 7 and the 8. Have also got an Eleven 9 hybrid![]()
Got any proper golf clubs?Callaway Rogue ST Max OS, have got the 7 and the 8. Have also got an Eleven 9 hybrid![]()
Went through a terrible time a couple of years ago with the shanks, ended up swapping the majority of my irons for hybrids. Best thing I ever did.Got any proper golf clubs?![]()
Without wanting to hijack the thread, I did.I'm pretty sure he would have put a bottle on the bar. That seems to be the thing to do now.
Does anyone actually buy everyone in the bar a drink now? Maybe in the past but not for years.
Yea this is the thing I find weird about that version of the custom. In this day and age, how many golfers are going to knock back a quick measure of whiskey before they drive home?? I wouldn't want to encourage that if anything!Without wanting to hijack the thread, I did.
£470, as it was on Captain's Charity Day, shotgun start, 110 members, and I knew maybe 10 of them drank spirits.
Decided that wasn't the right thing to do, so just sucked it up.
Insurance covered £200 of it though.

Our place charges the hole in one person £75 to put a bottle of Bells etc on the bar. Sod that, am not celebrating my HIO with a rammel whisky. I have an 18 yr old bottle of Rum that’s busting a gut for it to opened.I'm pretty sure he would have put a bottle on the bar. That seems to be the thing to do now.

That’s sounds like an expensive way to play golf ;-)Went through a terrible time a couple of years ago with the shanks, ended up swapping the majority of my irons for hybrids. Best thing I ever did.
