First ever Eagle!

Had a great days golf today and just wanted to share. I broke my best score around my track hitting an 84 (Par70) although if i hadn`t taken a triple bogey and a double on the 16th and 17th it could have gone sub 80! I also hit my first ever eagle on our short par 4 13th. Hit my drive with plenty of back wind and landed 10ft from the pin on the green. My confidence is so high with my putting due to the new putter and i nailed it. I was then left with the dilemma as to how to celebrate so i did a little fist pumping after running half way around the green. Thankfully my mates didn`t mind and understood my excitement! Anybody else done a crazy / undignified celebration on the spur of the moment.

Well done. I'd stick with the fist pump as running around the greens at this time of year may cause them damage . Seriously though go nuts especially when you drive par 4's and hopefully you'll get plenty more and a chance to work on the celebratory moves

What h'cap are you playing off?

I play off 20 but know that i am slightly lower than that but i can`t seem to hold it together in a comp that will bring it down.

i lipped out for a hole-in-one last week. i was gutted with a birdie aswell. thing is the results of the comp were put up and my name isn't down for a two so i am going to have to do some investigations

On the rare occasions when I have something to celebrate.....take off the cap, raise hands above head & stalk majestically round the green taking the applause of the crowd . Well, I can dream, can't I?
