First Cut of the Season

OK, I know the season has been underway now for a month or so, but I have had some hassles with the Broken Ribs last September, my problems with my Driver, so my game has finaly come home.

Bank Holiday Monday I shot 85, nett 66, playing of 19 Hcp, though was not a comp, but, Sunday Monthly Mug, shot 88 nett 69, 3 under, but SSS was 71, so 0.6 cut off my 18.8Hcp, now playing 18.2Hcp, playing 18

This is why I play the game

I am on my way to my Season Target of 16Hcp

Isn't it a great feeling being cut?

I got my 1st cut last week after finishing 3rd on 38pts and 2pts behind the winner in our midweek comp, down to 23.8 now.

I have practise round tomorrow at Worldham Park(Open course), as playing Club Handicap Championship 36 hole Comp, 1st Round this sunday, 2nd round following Sunday, so plenty of chances to get it low

Ah p88s off Im coming on here every day heariong of another cut, another eagle and Im playing like I have one arm shorter than the other!! On the plus side, I shot 4 over yesterday....and what was it....a hold, played the best golf for a while and got a bloddy hoold!!

Congrats mate...one downer...no double strokers in stableford now!!!

Hi Guys, just checked with Club, I was 0.9 points for the Comp, so playing 17.9Hcp, this will give me a few games to get the hang of it
