If it makes you feel any better about it I've got my first comp at my new club on Saturday and just woke up with a cricked neck - ouch lol

Good luck chellie as you will need it! There is no worse feeling in golf than standing on the first tee in your first ever comp with everyone watching and waiting for you to fail. Then when you top it 5 yards off the tee they say things like 'don't wory about it, we have all done it', they are really laughing at you on the inside and thinking who let this hacker on the course!
But try not to worry about it too much :thup:

Well, I was panicking over nothing as it was a foursomes comp. First time I've played that format. Putting wasn't very good today (practice deffo needed) but the rest of my game was with all drives long and straight down the middle. Didn't embarass myself against the low handicappers we were out against which is always a postive
