Just got in from playing and handing my first of 3 cards in to get my handicap,played garbage 1st 6 holes or so hitting 52,back nine much better hitting 43-that was with an 8 on
17(usually my best hole!!) 95 is probably my average so pretty happy with it.I'm quite exited as to what handicap i end up with!!

Well done. It gets easier now the first one is out of the way as there is less pressure or expectation. Play to your limits with the other two and don't be tempted to go for miracle shots. Get an honest and playable handicap and enjoy the challenge then of getting it down

Course par is 72,My best is 91.Knowing my luck my next 2 cards will be better than usual and i'll end up with a lower handicap than i should have!!

I've done my first two
104 and 96. I'm usually a hundred plus so was well chuffed with the 96 - obviously the driving lesson helped. One more to go now - just fitting it in around work, cricket and a couple of trips to Twenty20 World Cup
