I've finally reached that stage now as well. After playing really well & coming down 5 shots over the winter, I was creeping back upto 20 as my putting was letting me down & costing me 4-6 shots a round.
Then last week it all fell into place. On Friday I shot a 9 under par 82 & followed it up on the Saturday with another 82 & was 1 over gross on the back 9 !
Now been cut 4.2 to 15.6, so my next target will be 14.

Possibly slightly premature, but probably getting close to time to reconsider strategy of some holes. Bogey Golf isn't quite as acceptable as it once was.

Been and is frustrating for myself as got down to 19 in May shooting 15 over twice and a couple of more high 80s.....now I'm back to 20 after three 0.1's......and havent made hcap par for over 10 games......played 36 holes today at my track.....shot 1 over and 2 over par so hopefully getting there again

I understand what you are saying. Somehow everything clicked last weekend & has given me a lot of confidence. Certain Par 4's that used to get into my head so much that I would usually be happy taking a 5 or 6 I started to birdie. Looking forward to playing in our usual Thursday night 9 holer tomorrow night now !
