Final monthly polls this year: how many rounds did you play in 2010?

Okay, I know there are still a couple of weeks to go, but given the forecast I'm not sure how much more golf anyone is going to get in this year. So, this month's questions ask just how many rounds you managed in 2010 and how much variety you managed to achieve?
In case I'm not back on here before the break, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and I hope that the weather is kind enough to allow at least some of you to take to the fairways over the hols!

Just done a quick check on SS2....

140+ games

40+ different courses (counting the 3 9's at Forest Pines as 2 courses - well I did play there twice).

15 of the away courses were inter-club vets friendlies and 14 different courses with guys from the Forum. How sad is that

Thats good for me.

150 games per year, average time per round 3 1/2 hours = 525 hours.

Divide by 24 = 22 days (practically) of solid golf in the year

Over 365 days that makes an average of 1.4 hours of golf per day in 2010.

Not sure what my point is, but god am I jealous

So you should be. Cos it's actually 180 x 3.5= 630/365 =1.72hrs a day. Not including practice time. Hope my wife doesn't read this or I could be looking for somewhere else to live.

Not sure how many rounds but I played 37 different courses in 2010, of which 21 were courses I hadn't played before....

I love it mate, one of my favourite courses in our area. It's always in great nick for the Ashton Vase early in the season.

Shame about the mess they made with the 5th though. Just gives you nowhere to hit driver now, it's just rescue, rescue, wedge.

Tidy new range you got there too, better than B&C now.

Haha, that's because you're 15 and don't think about all the trouble like us old farts!!! I've leaked a 3 wood right on that hole and went down that little path that goes practically down to the 6th green!! That was an interesting triple from down there!!!

I've just had a wee count and jesus I played 29 different courses this year!Didn't realise, I actually havn't played as much golf as usual this year but bloody hell it doesn't half total up!

Would have been over 35 if I hadn't been serving a years league golf ban served by the club.
