figure this one out

took my ping k15 driver into an ag store today to see what trade in price i could get,offered me £110 against any other driver in the store, so picked up the tm superfast driver ( the one sky are advertising to death) for £129 , went to pay for it and the bloke on the counter said " that'll be £79 then, now im not the best at maths couldnt be arsed arguing so looks like im still using my ping, anyone know if i had any grounds for arguing the case, as he originally said £110 trade in on any club ???

I would have thought you would have had a case unless there was something in writing excluding TM from any promotional discounts. It is that sort of attitude that means I'd never use AG for clubs. They do some decent clothing and I don't get any problems buying shirts etc there. However their C/F service is amateurish at best, they will only try and flog their four main brands irrespective of customer wishes and are tighter than a tight person on a very tight day with their PX quotes.

im with you homer, clothes are ok, but dont think il be returning there when im buying clubs, customer service training would be highly reccomended

That's the bummer about the decline of cash as a method of payment.

If you'd have slapped £20 on the counter and the K15 and said (loudly) "are we doing business or not?" I reckon you might be the owner of a new stick by now!

All that said, and despite AG working hard to custom fit a few GM readers each month, the reputation they have on here means I never set foot in the place! That's can't be good for business can it!

il be looking for some new irons soon, but wont be from ag, had a couple of issues with them now, there wont be a third, both were the way i was spoken too,
