Feeling like a real Golffer!

Its taken a while but today I got cut to 24.
Shot a 90,in the June Medal.
I was aiming to break 90 this weekend, and was at 83 on the 18th tee, and needed anythng but a 7, of course I play the hole awfully and get a 7!

My goal is to be at 18 by October...Just need to keep finding less bushes.

83 after 17 holes......that it really good. Bad luck up the last, next time you'll get a 6 or better!

Too much pressure on yourself. It's a tough lesson but try not to tell yourself "I only need x" to either reach a score or play a hole. It leads to tension and your swing tightens up and the inevitable happens. I bet if you hadn't realised what you'd scored and just played the last normally you'd have got a 5 or 6 like you probably do regularly and would have broken the barrier without realising

I dont card count anymore ruins my score.

Have played 3 matchplay events this year and won the 3 on them.count my score after it and have been +7, +8 and +5 on thursday night.

Yet todays medal i was +3 on the 13th and still managed to finish +10

terrible played well all day and usual had 2 bad holes.

will come good one day

Well played and don't worry about the 7 on the last. The hole becomes so much more difficult under those circumstances as you get nervous and tense up. The more you put yourself in those situations, the easier it will become.
