Favourite Golf Glove

GX - Cabretta Leather

As good as the FJ ones but a lot cheaper

Reminded of some of the well worn gloves I’ve seen PP’s use
Worst one was holed at the wrist, manky/discoloured, holed at two fingers and worn through at the palm, honestly it was just a rag… he still hit a ball further than me though

On a slight aside:

How do people store their gloves? I have a soft pouch thing, part of a set from Amazon which I use for gloves and it also has a zipped pocket which holds tees, pitchmark repairer, ball markers, spare pencils. etc. The larger one form the set is ideal for my gps and trolley chargers.

Do people use different gloves for the range and/or rotate use of the gloves? I don't, just use one until it is worn out or too grubby then swap for a new one.
I usually have 2 in my bag at any time and alternates between then round and ranges etc. I have 3 valuables pouches from “Hell for Leather”, Gloves, personalised ball marker and pitch mark repair tool my wife got as an anniversary present, the other has tees in it and the 3rd is for my phone, wedding ring and wallet.

I’m so anal about how my bags packed I even have little dry bags for my spare items put clothing items in despite it being a waterproof bag 🤣

Even balls go into a a separate little dry bag for ease of access before they go into the actual ball pockets.

I think I might have issues 🤣
Luckily I'm OCD enough to make sure everything is in the same place so I know where it is - even down to my trouser pockets :ROFLMAO:
I’m exactly they same I wonder where we get that from 🤣

I used to have freezer bags for my balls and tees but now, courtesy of Christmas presents, I have a special ball bag (no sniggering at the back!) with my initials on.

The good old mark 1 freezer bag has waterproofed many an item over the years!

When I packed my golf bag my wife rolled her eye and told me I’m weird! The she saw me pack my Bergen and just said”now I know where the weirdness comes from” 🤣

Things all have their place and they’re correctly packed accordingly.

Exactly, when I deployed I needed to know exactly where my swimmers and suntan lotion was when I got to the hotel :ROFLMAO:

I'm a cheap and cheerful guy with gloves. Got 5 of them of eBay for £19 delivered, brand is called SG. Claim to be cabretta leather, they do feel a bit thick and are as tough as old boots but can't complain for the price.

I buy these.
I used to like Mizuno Comp because they did cadet sizes (big hands but short fingers) but they stopped making them. These aren’t too long fingered and they’re cheap.

Not sure if it's this model, or other bionic gloves, but some aren't legal to use, non conforming, in competitions due to the big ridges in palm/fingers.
Fine for casual play.

Sounds ridiculous I know, its only a glove, but was told this by a couple of pga pros now that stock them.

Ive always like the srixon cabretta, footjoy sciflex, though I do like the Rife cabretta too after picking up a couple from American golf great value.
Yeah, I heard that too, I'm a long way off playing in any comps tho :sneaky:

Thanks to this thread, I went on a bit of a glove-buying binge. I bought some old favourites and some new ones I've ever tried before

Been wearing these for a while, order in bulk when they have special deals on. Good as gold.

My sister sometimes gets me Costco gloves. Very good for the money, but not as good as the GX in terms of wear and fit.

Same, I use one of those zip lock freezer bags to keep balls, pitch repairer, tees and markers in before putting it into the ball pocket.

Just makes it easy to find the repairer, marker etc as I can lift the whole thing out and see them rather than rummaging around in the pocket.
