Yup, day after Rory won. Full Sunday tees and pins.
Mrs won a 4 ball whilst we were at a “have a beer with GMac” event earlier in the week. I also won a signed driver from him at the same event.

Not even even me in the photo, nor the best available picture of that course but just reminds me of a great day out, at an amazing course with a great group of lads.

One of the last groups in, playing in a match for the club’s Arnold Palmer trophy, just before the course closed and a friendly Marshall let us play 17 off The Open tee.
I took the photo, opponent is on the tee and had just won the match on 16. In that moment, both of us were playing 17&18 for the claret jug. Despite him hitting the best drive that I’ve witnessed from an amateur off 17 I somehow went on to shake hands and “win The Open” with a bogey par finish.
