Had a one night/ 2 round break earlier this year with around 20 guys. Course is nothing special, (if you can find it!!!! It's in the middle of nowhere....sat nav tries to get you to turn into a field!!) Beautiful scenery and quite a hilly course. No phone signal ( good thing some will say).
A few of the greens were rock hard and as a result it was almost impossible to get the ball to stop, You had to land it 30 yds short, (especially 2nd hole par 3).
Really friendly staff...well stocked pro shop...good food. Bar stays open as long as you want...BUT...you have to keep bunging the barman a sidehander every hour for him to keep it open. 2 full sized snooker tables....AND a squash court!!
The local hunt have a tendency to ride through the course and the dogs are HUGE.....real Hounds of the Baskerville stuff...
Very good value for money though and would probably go again.
