I would suggest we need to stop employing Bank Staff. It's probably difficult to stop this in one swoop but maybe we need to make a clear plan to stop it completely over 12 months. These health care bank staff will then need to work for the NHS or go abroad.

That is one of the biggest scandals out there. Appalling waste of money that should have been capped and controlled years ago.

Understand the sentiments but most hospitals would argue (hide behind) a need to be clinically safe and as fully complemented as possible however that's done. We're getting beaten from the Exec and board down to reduce recruitment times, get better pick up off adverts and generally get as many established staff as possible. Easier said than done on the shop floor
