There are a lot of factors to take into account when putting. Pace, break, elevation and even wind. Today however we had a new problem, WORMS !!!!! Hundreds of the darn things all over the greens. I have quite honestly never seen anything like it. Anyone else experience this wiggly phenomenom today or was it just us?

We had the same yesterday. Snails too.
Millions of the little bleeders!
Can't blame them for my poor putting though....

we had loads of dried up frogs over summer. must of jumped from the ponds over night and forgotten to go home before the sun came out.

We played early this morning just after 7.30 and there had been an overnight frost, leaving a really heavy dew on the greens, the green staff don't work weekends now so they weren't swished :( You could see the line of the previous putts though. Not that helped ;)

There did seem to be an abundance today but I couldn't get the ball near the hole anyway so it made no difference. Just done and hour at home wit the V-Easy and Pathfinder and feel a bit better about the stroke. By the way Mike I got the message in the bar and yes I'm probably the only one with a smile on my face about your score.

Haha thought you might be pleased. 33 points was about the worst score I could have shot today. I've played worse this year and got cut. I guess I'm learning those little mistakes make a big difference when you don't have many shots to play with.

The way I look at it is that a shot on the 1st is never going to hurt anyone. Have you got a date in mind to play our mathc. Can't do next weekend (lesson Saturday morning) but can do 26/27 and anytime in December. Plus the fact they have to give you an extra shot too
