Well it could zap a lamp post from 147 yards away in heavy snow so I'm petty impressed
I'm not so impressed - Thecraw can hit a dog using an 8 iron from that distance!

Are they discontinued? I see on Hillman site they have none displaying and the UK sports imports site only has the 800 and no 1500's.
Have mine over a year now and only had to change the batteries about a month ago.
ive been toying with the idea of one of these, this one seems to be for sale all the time, what is it with the shakey hands??? does the slightest movement stop it working right??? serious question by the way

The problem with shaking hands is that the lens magnifies 6 times, which exaggerates any shake you might have. It's the same as trying to hold a camera still enough when using a lot of zoom.
I don't think I have the steadiest of hands but have never had a problem with my Nikon (also x6). I use 2 hands and hold my elbows against my body to steady my arms. It sounds odd but it's really not.
