Well I used it today for the first time as despite doing everything it says on the tin I think I actually prefer GPS... So it's up for sale again.

£80.00 no offers, still on original batteries, complete with all manufactures labels and packaging.

Not sure phil - I'm only selling it as I prefer the quickness of a GPS

Being honest the scan mode is awesome, especially when looking at bunkers, lakes etc, my issue is I've always used a GPS, which Is quick. Walk up, look at the GPS, look at the pin position, pull a club and crack on.

With these I find myself trying to guess, then pulling the range finder, checking pin, and any other hazards, then putting it away, all takes time. I don't feel holding it one handed is steady enough but I found that when trying a v2 tour so its nothing to do with the unit.

If I hadn't used my quick gps I'd keep it, even though it offers more info than the GPS, great item I just don't need a GPS and a range finder, although if it hasn't gone by Sunday I may use it again

The problem with shaking hands is that the lens magnifies 6 times, which exaggerates any shake you might have. It's the same as trying to hold a camera still enough when using a lot of zoom.

I don't think I have the steadiest of hands but have never had a problem with my Nikon (also x6). I use 2 hands and hold my elbows against my body to steady my arms. It sounds odd but it's really not.

This is exactly how I hold it steady, then it's crystal clear!
