Hello
I believe that my game would benefit from having my driver fitted properly.

Does anyone know of a decent place that I could get it fitted? i.e advise correct length of shaft, regular/flex/stiff, correct loft degree etc

Bought it from AG Trafford but they didn't really fit it.

Tour X are highly recommended, although it isn't cheap!
Do you have a specific brand you want?
I have a Srixon bag, and they have club fittings all over the country at golf clubs, check out their website.

Although having said that, as a 28+ handicapper, lessons will be most beneficial. £300 worth of driver will look nice, and probably inspire confidence, but £300 worth of lessons will help even more!

TourX do shaft fittings which is cheaper than a new driver fitting.

If they didn’t adjust loft settings as part of that your settings are either ideal or it’d be pretty easy to figure out.

Another vote for Nick Hibbs at Tour X if you want the very best in fitting, former Tour Truck engineer.
Other options worth a look if you don't want to go there
Lytham Golf Academy
New Generation @ Pleasington GC
Ryan Done @ Heysham GC
Golf Performance @ Lancaster GC
Gavin Abson @ West Lancs GC

Unless your driver is more than 5 years old probably just needs adjusting (if available) and ensure the shaft is right for you.
Spend any surplus on a lesson from the same guys above.
Good Luck.

+1 for tour x - amazing experience, but not cheap!

Clarke’s golf in Rainford have every brand going are are v good. You also hit out on to a range and not a screen if that makes a difference to you.

Clubhouse Golf in Manchester are also great....
