Excited!

Played in the point two yesterday. The morning round was ticking along nicely, with two holes to go, when we had a thunder storm, a hail storm, and torrential rain. In two holes I was utterly soaked. Finished bogey, double, and was lucky to get that. Very off putting when you can see the lightening flash reflecting off your putter, mid swing. Net 71, CSS 73. Without the storm it would have been better.
The sun came out in the afternoon. It still took me 9 holes to dry out and warm up. Started double, double, bogey, birdie. Solid start. Did ok round to the 13th, and then bogeyed 5 of the last 6 holes for a net 73, buffered.

Probably came 6th over all, out of the prizes (apart from 5 provs in the twos), and got cut 0.4 back to 9.2.

Kind of happy, but really should have finished stronger. I was very lucky to only drop one shot on both 17 and 18.

Nice one Murph....

0.1 for my troubles today....just couldn't get going....didn't help waking up at 4am at the campsite and not getting back to sleep....
