Exam Results

Earlier on in the year I posted on here that I had been offered a place at St Andrews and Aberdeen… Well, got my results today…

Despite working as hard I thought I could I missed my offer to get into St Andrews!

Gutted!

Still struggling to comprehend it, as I honestly thought that I had done it. It is quite a hard one to take if I am honest!

Nevertheless, I am still going to try and get a remark because it was completely out of the blue, and I won't give up till they tell me to f*** off!

But, I got good enough grades to go to Aberdeen, so will still be off to Medical school!

Although, it is not such an exiting proposition, once I am settled up there, and anyone would like a game, feel free to drop me a line and I will see if I can help as I will be a member at Royal Aberdeen (hopefully!).

My friend applied to do a sheep farming degree but didn't get the results he wanted.

He needed a B and two As.

My lad got his results today too and he also hadn't done as well as he'd thought.

It's sad when you see them work so hard, which for him was a big turnaround in his attitude from 4-5 years ago.
I just hope it doesn't send him backwards.

Good luck fella,my young lad got his results the other week he got 8 1s or top marks in lay mans terms ,he's just done a week workplacement at Ninewells Hospital as he to wants to be a doctor he's got one more year left hopefully.

The results are even better as he missed the first 2 months of the year as he was in hospital after a major heart op.

Look on it as a blessing - I doubt St. Andrews, a passion for golf and the demands of a medical degree are compatible.
