Was searching for the reason before I went to golf this morning. I know Ernie was having a bit of a mare but can't remember how the others were doing. They were called off for bad light yesterday rather than the weather so unlikely they were dq'd for carrying on.

I know the horn went whilst they were towards the end of their second rounds. They had no chance of making the cut so they probably just did one as opposed to come back the next day ?

Heard one of the commentators saying that Ernie only had 1 hole left to play today and as he had no chance of making the cut he did not return. Can only assume it was something similar for the others.
