Eubank Junior

Think that showed more flaws in Joshua than anything there. Was wobbled in the second round.

People saying he's the best heavyweight need to have a rethink.

He is far from anywhere near the finished article but he has the potential.

He has been put in with bums or journeymen so far and this was a really good test.

He was hurt but he showed character and that he is not a one punch pony and you wont see a better punch to finish a fight.
Needs to up his game in the future though.

He was hurt there and blowing when he went back to his corner. Yes he recovered well

It looked a punch that would hurt anyone - to take it showed his chin can handle a big punch

Still a bit raw - no idea about tactics in boxing but seems that he fights with his heart ?

Yeah I agree. The hype around him is too much though. Some people saying he's the best in the world and would beat any heavyweight. That fight shows he isn't there yet.

Don't forget Whyte was supposed to be a push over and people were saying this was a mismatch and it would end early.

He starts pretty slow but once he catches him, and he'll catch him, he's done.

Daniel Jacobs might beat him but that would be a good fight.

I think once he starts to unleash those bombs, which are very accurate even when he's taking shots, and his left hook is to die for, it could be 3 rounds, 4 tops, I think he has a much better chin than Jnr so I wouldn't be too concerned about a slowish start, but by god it would soon get interesting with the huge difference in styles.

Yeah I agree. I hope it happens but it probably won't. GGG is 33 so would need to happen in next year or two.

The biggest reason for it not happening will be Jacobs beating Jnr,which I wouldn't bet against. In fact I'll go on record now and say Jacobs would KO Jnr.

Good night of boxing. Campbell losing was the biggest shock. Did not expect that. The guy who beat Mitchell was a beast. Pretty much knocked him over with a jab. Shame as Crolla V Mitchell would have been decent.

I thought Eubank Junior boxed well and pretty much had O'Sullivans number. Great chin and hand speed. He'd beat Jacobs (who hasn't really beaten anyone of note and has been KO'd before). I think he'd win the rematch with Saunders and KO Lee but I think it's too soon for the likes of GGG or Alverez.

Joshua answered a lot of critics tonight. Went longer than he had been before and took a few heavy shots before knocking Whyte clean out. Frightening power. Still lots of questions but he's unlikely to box with that emotion in any other fight going forward. His cardio may cost him and he seemed to stiffen up once Whyte connected. Pretty convincing win none the less

He'd more than likely be on the decline in 2 years. He isn't as young as he looks. If he isn't interested if facing him now then he shouldn't really be mentioning his name.

Think it was Johnny Nelson that brought it up in fairness not him , o Sullivan said he was ready now but Eubank said he is 18-24 months away from it

His dad mentioned it weeks ago when he fought that no hope Tony Jetter. In fact he's mentioned it a few times now. Suppose he's just doing it for publicity.
