No idea how the square drivers got on but didn’t seem to last

But it’s hard to think of recent ideas that have failed but there will be things that just don’t sell

I posted earlier in the thread how well I got on with my FTi LCG, long, loud and ugly.

The concept was simple, stretch the weight out into the corners and increase the MOI. They died because manufacturers discovered exotic material that allowed them to increase MOI in a "traditional" looking club.

I seem to recall that the Ping G15 wood range didn't get a lot of love.....I don't think many thought it better than the G10.

I'd be one of the idiots who changed from a G10 to a G15. The G10 driver I had was superb. Mates said they had never seen me hit the ball so well or so consistently. Being the complete idiot that I am, I sold the G10 to one of said mates and "upgraded" to a G15. Worst decision ever made and my mate wouldn't sell me the G10 back. I ended up going with an i15 which was better. For a while...............................:p
