Egypt

northern cyprus is the place to go,plenty for the family to do,friendly people, inexpensive and as a bonus it has some cracking courses.
Totally agree. I go to The Hideaway Club when I can. love it and even the best restaurants are pretty cheap

Correct...a bit like parents leaving kids in an apartment while they go over other side of the complex to eat and drink.

This thread is about to descend into controversy I feel.

Marmaris someone asked about. A bit too "Brits abroad" for my taste but each to his own. Icmeler more upmarket and fairly close so I would stay there and do Marmaris on a day trip if you must.

By the way, the golf courses in Turkey are pretty much all in Belek which isn't close to the more popular family destinations like Marmaris etc. You can't play golf anywhere in the Dalaman/ Marmaris area as far as I know.
