How do you edit a post?

Is there a time limit and if elapsed can you no longer edit?

yes there is a time limit, sorry, dont know how long but I think its measured in minutes not hours or days

You can only edit if you are the last reply. Once someone else replies then you can no longer edit your post. I assume it is set this way so that all threads make sense as each reply will be to a previous post and if edited then a response may not make sense.

Can the time limit for editing be extended to a couple of hours?

Not a big problem for normal posts, but I know people don't like bumping in the For Sale section, and hence if you need to add more detail to the posts, or picture then it's impossible to do it without annoying.
