Ebay Dispute - Hilarious response from seller

I bought a putter on ebay recently, it hasn't arrived and I have chased it up, check out this reply I got from the seller !


( I have taken out a few of the more colourful nouns, otherwise unchanged)

Club was delivered from the isle of man hence the cost noticed youtried to open a case U sad pig if I hadn't posted it already would keep itto be clear there will be no refunds and I hope you ca t bit the ball straightwith the club you stalker ever. Thought of Getting a life as U clearly have tomuch time on your hands bet you are a civil servent or work for a big corpcompany that you are just a small cog in the huge wheel were U are full ofself.importance but now deep down your a replaceable salaried nobody why dontyou give your organs to someone who has a real life
 
I forwarded it onto them, but don't really expect any action. I couldn't resist the temptation to respond. I wanted to keep it non abusive, but failed. I didn't swear, just maybe questioned what he was doing when he should have been at school.

That was my first reaction; the standard of written english in the youth of today is appalling. They can't even write an abusive email that reads well !:confused:
 
Oh dear. How long has it taken for them to post it? Maybe you could send him a copy of this book back!

it's been 10 days, he was charging £15 postage, I mailed him before I bid and asked him why it was so high. He replied and said it would be 48 hr tracked courier. I asked for a refund as it obviously wasn't and got that reply.

don't really mind as I'm protected by paypal and I don't really need a putter, but I will keep on at him as I'm interested in how he can possibly justify it. Also it's funny to see if I can provoke a more abusive response:D

I sell a bit on e-bay and try hard to do it right... 5stars for description 4.9stars in other catergories...
Been lucky as I've only had a couple of minor 'issues'... When I've made a purchase only come unstuck a couple of times and on each occassion seller has refunded in full... Though I have wondered each time why list/sell obviously faulty items...
 
I sell a bit also. normally the rubbish I have bought on there. It is so weighed in favour of the buyer that I don't really understand how a seller expects to get away with anything other than decent service, and good communication.

Pokerjoke's policy seems a good one, in this case he had 100% feedback but only 8 transactions.

I just couldn't really understand his come back when I chased him up :D
 
I had a dispute with a fool who thought I hadn't paid enough for his tat and wouldn't send it to me saying he had listed it wrong. He then, stupidly, advertised them again exactly the same with a higher starting bid. I contacted fleabay and they could see he had relisted the items with a higher price, that, coupled with the abusive language in his emails to me they banned him permenently.
It may take time but they don't look too highly on abuse by email or refusal to send a refund.
 
I had a vaguely similar experience when I asked to see a picture of the faces of a set of Titleist forged irons this guy was selling. he was only showing pics of the backs of the clubheads.
I received a torrent of abuse about never being able to hit them, how he was a +2 player, he even changed his item description to include some abuse directed at my username.
I was quite shocked and 'talked him down' but why he got so stressed over a perfectly reasonable request....scary!

Re your guy I would leave him negative feeback, if he retorts you get the final say so let him have it.
 
it arrived yesterday!! it wasn't posted until Sat, It is the ugliest putter I have ever seen, I'm not sure I even want it now (watch the for sale section !)

I'm waiting to see what action ebay will take, I complained that my delicate disposition was shocked and offended by the vile abuse I was subjected to !!:D

Oh very good! He will get at least a warning but probably a short ban of 1 or 2 weeks but if they deem it to be offensive enough he's an ex-ebayer.
