Ebay 20% discount

think this may be a scam, been into paypal account and no sign of discount! anyone else checked?

Just did it and it worked fine, put item into basket (apparently it doesn't work on app) on desktop version, when checkout came, put code in voucher box, it took 20% off straightaway and then I paid remainder.
Checked on my paypal account and it showed I had paid full amount to the vendor, then broken down into £xx from my paypal acct and £xx from Voucher.

I have checked and you are right the full amount (ie with no discount) is showing against my paypal account, yet the email confirmation shows the net amount.

They did a similar promotion earlier in the year and it took a number of days for the 20% credit to appear in my paypal account.

EDIT - as Pauldj42 says, the breakdown on paypal says net payment plus voucher applied, so all appears to be in order

If you click on the item on your paypal website acct it shows the breakdown, i.e. how much was voucher and how much from your payment method.

Maximum £50.00 discount with the voucher, just in case your not aware.

I used the smart phone apps do it worked spot on, go to check out on a item I won via bid and not buyitnow, as the Cukflash code in coupon and job done!

See further up the thread, if you click on the Paypal transaction it breaks it down and only the net amount is charged to you with the balance shown as a discount voucher.
