East Sussex National West or East

Quick one lads, been offered a round tomorrow and wanted to know in your opinion what was the better course of the two? From looking at the website doesn’t seem much different in quality

Both great, but I prefer the West as I always stuff up the tee shot on the 1st at the East with the starter watching lol

Funnily enough, I prefer the East!
Don't like "Amen Corner" on the West from 12 to 14.

But I also like the West Course

Both good but the East is the one with the 'history'. The West used to be members only for the first few years when the place opened.

The East, the greens are in better condition as the West was hollow tined 2 weeks ago. Decision made! It was also the course that the pros used in the comps they used to play there.

played in March (8 of us) ... enjoyed both courses, the beer was good too ..

As drive4show has said about the history the East course hosted the European Open a few years back and it was excellent for viewing and getting close to the pros. Definitely my favourite of the two.
