I was on teeofftimes looking for somewhere to play with my father this weekend. Needed to be in the morning as we are off to see some Olympic events in the afternoon. I found a tee time of 05:50 in the morning. Ridiculous! I don't think I could tee off any earlier than 7 as my muscles just won't have warmed up enough.

One year I got so fed up with the four balls of death at Largs I decided to get up at 5am (summer obviously) and head up. Driving into the car park I was astounded to find that their was a four ball on the first tee and a three ball heading down the 2nd!!!!!

Ive teed off once at 4am, I was called into work early then when I got there I wasn't needed. I had my clubs in the car and went to my course which was nearby.
I wasn't the first there either I saw a few other singles in front. There was also some one on the course looking for balls.

About 04:30 when we did the longest day challenge but used to regularly tee it up about 6 so I could play before work. There as absolutely no better time to be out on the course on a nice summer's day.

We have one comp a year that is a 6.00 shotgun start with breakfast afterwards so that is the earliest that I have teed off.

Not actually sure what time the course opens to allow people on as there is an archway leading to the course with a big gate on it. Not sure if that is locked between certain times.

i've got a teetime of 9.15 on sunday - thats early enough for me!
if i had to tee off at 4 am then i probably would just stay up all night ;)

5.30 is the earliest I've ever teed off. Did it to help out a mate who wanted to play in the competition but had to catch a ferry at 9am.

i was at a party in Tain a few years ago that went on till 4am, i had my clubs with me in the car and the wife had gone back to the hotel so i went and played 9 holes with one of the other party goers, we had to give up, golf and 8 hours of heavey drinking don't mix;)

About 15-years ago I worked nights and a few of us would go straight to the course after work on Friday mornings. We were teeing up in the gloom waiting for the sun to come up, and got away at 04:40 and done by 7:30. Great time and set us up for the weekend.
