HID has a Kindle - she's got more books on it than she could possibly read in her lifetime and she's always on it!!
At least it frees up the PC for the Forum!!

Kindle is a big seller - brought for the misses, she loves it and now i want one!

Prices are good and bad though (some are only a little bit cheaper)

mmmm i like reading, but i never read a book twice. ive got tinternet and there are a lot of free books to download. heard good things about latest kindle. but 2/3 post are HID related.

One of my lads has a kindle, never seems to read anything else. I prefer to read with my eyes resting -ie audiobooks, play golf like that too.

How is the Kindle screen in strong sunlight? Like to read on holiday so no use if sun glare make the screen hard to read

Got a Sony. Had it for 2 years. Good idea, rubbish software, terrible battery life.

Kindle is really good in daylight because of the way it works also much easier on power, only downside is its only black and white

my dad bought a different brand for 50 euro cheaper than the kindle. ive looked at it a couple of times, but im not impressed

I have a kindle and love it, books are cheaper than it a shop, and there are many site that you can download (legally) books for free.

I have ton's of books, more than I could ever read, plus you can read pdf files on it as well.

Great bit of kit and well worth the money.

Kindle is brilliant. Got HID one for xmas and was so impressed I got myself one too.
I think Tesco has started selling them too.

I have an ipad with the kindle app and WH Smith app can be up to £5 difference between sites and some titles are released at different times on different apps. Looked at the kindle but screen is a bit small for my eyes, and an ipad allows you to do a lot more with the one device.
