I played dundonald links this morning and it was in fantastic condition considering it was closed yesterday and covered in snow. Greens were probably the best I’ve seen yet. Quite a hard and long course, I was getting tired towards the end but such an enjoyable round of golf really enjoyed the course.

I played it a few weeks ago and it was in superb condition, we played off the blue tees, which tees did you play from ?

Cheers, John

Nett 62 at Prestwick and Nett 66 today, both on courses you have never played before. Excellent scoring.Have you submitted cards for handicap?

What is your home Club and are they aware of your scoring in horrendous conditions?

From the figures shown I would avoid entering any Competitions but really well played.

Yes my current handicap is 24 but on a good day I’ll break 80. Problem is my home course east ren has re done two greens and there off till start of season. So last card I handed in was last summer and I’m currently working with two pros and play golf 5 days a week. So I’m improving fast. Soon as full course in open in April I’ll be working on my handicap right away but until then there’s nothing I can do.

You can submit the card above assuming you holed out on every hole and no mulligans etc.

Don’t feel pressured about your handicap with some of the above comments about your scores, courses like Dundonald are playing far far easier than they will do during the season when the heather is brutal and the fairways are fiery.

Cheers, John
