Dummer Golf Club nr Basingstoke

Has anyone recently played at Dummer golf club as I have been emailed a good membership offer and was wondering what were peoples thoughts of the course, facilities etc? I am going for a round first before deciding to sign or not.

i was a member there about 5 years ago i moved out of the area so let the membership go.
it is a very good course built on chalk so the drainage is good dont go there on a monday as the seniors have a roll up with a two start wich means tour five day membership you are paying for becomes a four day.
when i was there they were giving deals to golf societys wich could make for a long round of golf.

Played there a few times when I lived down that way for a few months. Not a bad course but I was never really that taken with the place if I'm honest but it was right on my doorstep so did a job for a few months.

It did get busy at times if you got caught behind the seniors or ladies but evenings weren't too bad.

Booked a game there for next Monday this morning......oh well. We like playing there.
