I went to the belfry yesterday and played on the driving range, was hitting my driver very sweetly from the 4th tee height. They have those automatic tee mats where the ball rises up from under the mat. I have seen the same thing a few places so guess it is reasonably common now. It has a button to set 4 tee heights, I was using the 4th (highest) for my driver and hitting it very nicely. I didn't think to check at the time but does anyone know what height/type of tee that 4th one is equivalent to? I want to replicate it tomorrow on the course and I had the thought setting up at the same height takes one thing out of the equation!

if you line the crown top of your driver with the equator of the ball should put you in pretty good shape to have that upwards AoA through the ball you must have had to strike the ball well at the range.

The 4th height on one mat might not be the same as the 4th height on another mat, because they can be fine tuned as well as the 4 preset heights.
