Hi All

Im lookin at a driving iron for a 3 wood replacement.
Im not bad with the good old driver, 260 max maybe but I need something that goes about 220 yds for those doglegs/playing safe.

Ayone had any experience with the mizzy MP Fli Hi, that looks pretty nice or any other driving irons :)

A 16 or 18 degree hybrid won't go as far as a 3 wood but will offer more control which is I presume what you're after.
The hi-fli is not versatile, it really is a driving iron, ok off tee but not nice off the deck.
I would look at a Cobra baffler type hybrid - offers more versatility and every bit as good off the tee as a driving iron.
IMO driving irons are a thing of the past, they were precursors to the modern hybrid.

Have you had a look at the Adams pro black.Thats a small hybrid but in my opinion sits more like a iron and it flys like a bullet too although not the most forgiving

or a trusty Callaway WarBird - hugely effective stick.

I have one sitting in the garage since I got exactly the same in a 4Wood for that smidge more length, but I wouldnt part with it i'm afraid !
