mono, what on earth is wrong with the gear you already (?) own?
Why do you want to offload all your gear in order to buy new?

You must have one hell of a paper round to be able to afford all this gear you're considering buying.

Would it not be wise to try before you buy? Nip down to your local AG/DG and hit a few if you are serious. Get an idea what suits you.

Alternatively you could dream up another random post but change the format a bit. I think you've exhausted the buying new gear idea mate! Going off recent posts it would seem you have no intention of buying or selling owt, owing to the fact that you don't reply to any enquiries posted.

If I'm way off the mark, please forgive me. It all seems a bit fantasy land to me though.

Is there a way we can just manually put his post count upto a million then he may be happy and settle down to some sensible posting.....
As in most things in life Mono, its quality not quantity that counts.

To me, your kit seems fairly up to date. I'd spend the time and money getting used to it rather than changing it. It does take time to get to know your clubs and as you're still growing your swing is going to change, so swapping your kit around every 5 minutes might not be the best way to go.

You're right Frasting. I have actually sent Mono appology for my recent posts to him (thats if my pm has worked this time.) and hopefully if he accepts it we will make a new start.

I'll try and keep the synicism to a minimum and the criticism positive from now on.

Try saying that five time fast and drunk.

A touch of naivety, a dash of immaturity and a wild big dose of enthusiasm. Always a recipe for getting peoples backs up. Given time he we will get him onto the straight and narrow, not by mollycoddling him though. If we dont tell him, who will?

Can I direct any of you still concerned about our new poster to the sale/wanted section. In short he PM'd me last night asking about deleting posts (too late you only get a short time to do it) as he wanted to put all of his buy/sells into one post. He also asked about posting pictures so he could actually show the gear which should go some way to helping resolve queries about condition etc.

He did seem quite genuine in try to attone for clearly upsetting some forummers and at this time I'm prepared to cut him a break. In my reply I told him why he was getting grief in some quarters and how his responses to threads need to be more open and not just closed statements. If he takes my advice and that of others I hope we'll see him round for a good while to come. However if he carries on .... "Smithers, release the hounds!!".
