I currently use a Ping G5 9deg stiff shaft Driver. My problem is that this is the only club that i still slice.

This is also the only club which has a stiff shaft. I use this as it was a hand me down from a mate, so as a freebie its very good!

i like the flight a 9deg gives me but would the stiff flex contribute/add to my silceing problem with this club?

The rest of my clubs are reg flex and very rarely slice them.

Your swing makes the slice, the stiff shaft makes it a little worse, but only a little.
The longer shaft and the fact that you probably hit it a bit harder than the rest of your clubs is in my opinion what causes the slice. Swing smoother and go and see your local pro for a lesson :)

Without seeing your swing and knowing your handicap etc, I'm generalising a tad, but lower lofts will still impact more side spin even where balls are designed to neutralise this to a degree.

My thinking is that a 10.5 and regular would probably give you morre control and the higher loft won't exaggerate the slice so much. That said there was something somewhere (think it was an interview with a top pro or even in a magazine article) that most amateur players would actually benefit from switching to 11 degrees and above. Clearly that isn't the cue for all those on here playing less loft than that to come on and defend what they are using etc it is merely an observation (goes back to bed with flu like symptoms - if the swine flu doesn't get me the forum will!)
