Just wondering if anyone has any experience cleaning/polishing the horrible sky marks or even ball marks off the face of their drivers? I have a ping G430 so has a matte finish on the crown.
What’s best to use etc?

I usually manage to do this with the soft leather of my gloves. 🤷🏽

But I’d make it easy on myself and ask Ping for two reasons: First, the G 430 is made of a mix of materials, including carbon, and *I* wouldn’t dare just go at it with any old cleaning products and risk damaging it (especially considering how much it costs!). 😱

Second, Ping should know this and be able to answer “off the top of their head,” and Ping’s customer service is actually quite good and prompt. 👍

Depends on how deep the sky mark has gone, if it's not all the way through the paint then sometimes a little T-Cut can sort it out. If it's through the paint and it's a shiny black crown then T-Cut and black sharpie are your best bet without trying to paint it.

I've found WD-40 is good for cleaning the face, I've used it a few times on my 3 wood and hybrids as the Callaway ones seem to have a habit of getting rust specs on them, even if you dry them after a round.
