Can anyone recommend a driver (perhaps an older model) which may be good for a slow to medium swing speed.
I'm hoping for a bit more distance and accuracy.

I don't have a fast swing speed. I find the RBZ spot on really lightweight (to light for some). I hit it straight as a die (guess I will hook/slice everything as I've said that) carry is about 220yrd. (ok below forum average lol).

Head makes very little difference these days, though there are more forgiving ones and ones that favour Toe/Heel misses as opposed to high/low ones.
As LPP posted, shaft is as important as head. It's your swing that determines which sort works best - for you! Flex isn't actually the most important factor, as long as it's not vastly 'wrong'.

Rob you can pick up a new Cleveland XL285 12 degree with A flex shaft for £57 on ebay. It's as good as any driver I've used and a steal at the price

this is verging on a misnomer
distance comes from clubhead speed and quality of strike combined with the appropriate launch angle and spin rates for the clubhead speed.
so, to increase your distance you either need to increase your club head speed or get a club that is a better fit for your swing overall (and that will include shaft, loft and head).
to increase club head speed alone just use a longer (or possibly lighter) driver shaft - unfortunately that rarely goes hand in hand with more accuracy; and don't forget that if you do gain length you have to reduce dispersion to maintain the same practical accuracy ie if missing the fairway is currently a 15 degree error, if you gain 20 yds it may become a 12 degree error!
as a huge generalisation, which seems to be what you are looking for, I would get a long, light shafted forgiving headed club with at least 12 degrees of loft - but then again you haven't even given us you existing driver spec to work from.

Calloway X Hot has come out on top of many 'slow swing speed' driver tests.
Ping G15 is very forgiving and K15 even more so (but is heavily offset).
Have you got a big golf store near you which is attached to a range? They'll be happy to tape up some drivers or give you a shot of demos.

Thanks for your very helpful replies, my current driver is a Mcgregor m69, which I bought after reading reviews in Today's Golfer. I'm only playing once a week and have to keep to a budget so looking for 2nd hand or discounted club. Current driver does not seem to suit me as well as last one ( Mizuno jpx 800).

I have a slowish swing speed and the JPX 800 was great for that, probably should not have changed it. Recently changed to a 12 degree cleveland classic XL with a regular shaft and it is going better than the JPX. A bargain at 89.00 new

I agree. I have recently gone from the Ping G15 which was such an easy club to hit to the X2 Hot Callaway which goes 20 to 30 yards further and is pretty easy to wallop too

OP - I'm not the fastest either, and I find that the K15 with a regular flex shaft works well for me.

Regular would probably work too - it all depends on the type of swing and the swing feel you want!
I don't hit too much further but prefer a Stiff (or ultra stable Reg) shaft! (oo-er missus!).

G15 is great, I have the 12 and also before that had the Hot Metal HT. (13)
Launch is King for distance. I need more than most and "theoretically" max out at 245, according to Bridgestone.

I have the xhot and quite a slow swing speed! Has increased my distance but more importantly my accuracy has improved!
