I kid. I would if I could afford to as they get a lot of hammer in the winter but I tend to just keep the same pair all year and replace when necessary.

Once we switch to the winter course ( this week, Wed i think) I 've a couple of old pairs of FJ i use, both pairs have stretched and need a thick pair of socks. They both leak anyway so just a case of drying them out after each round. One pair has metal spikes for frosty days.

Has anyone used the TW13 shoes in wet weather? My "waterproof" pair have had it and I've been considering the TW13s for a while now. The practical side of me is thinking I need a decent winter pair and if these wont be upto the job I might as well wait till next spring to part with the cash. My course drains pretty well so it's really only the waterproof aspect I'm concerned about.

I bought some footjoy winter boots this June because they were on special offer.
Unfortunatley due to the unique nature of the British climate i've been wearing them since July

The TW13's copes very well in the wet. And the best thing is, they are very easy to clean. But I also have the Nike Bandon boot for winter.

Well that's my mind made up then. Going to New York in December so if I can manage to wait ill buy them while I'm over there!

I cant afford to to be honest so try and buy a good all round pair, settled on the lunar controls early this year and so far have not regretted it. Though mine were spotless until i saw the pair above!! lol
As I have 16 pairs I tend to revert to black or navy/black pairs for the winter (as opposed to white) and tend to put a pair of spike in at least one
