Took out the two hybrids, and went back to a single 21 hybrid, and a 4 iron today.

4 bbb comp today. played great golf. Best I've played for ages.

Hit a couple of low drawn 4irons that were just awesome. To die for. Into wind, low, punchy, exactly the shot you can't hit with a hybrid.

Driver is just rubbish, but for 16 holes was 2 over par, just the two holes were shocking. That said, down 18 I striped it off the tee, middle of the fairway, into an unplayable lie. What? Ball two foot above my feet, buried in three inch deep grass, in a bowl, on a down slope. Seriously, two foot in any direction, I'd have been fine.

Hit a great hybrid ( ok, they are good for something!) but I'd allowed for a draw I didn't get. 4 bounces down the road (tin cup style) and OB in the car park. Great.

Over all, pretty good though.

Iv only the 1 also Murph.....
I go from 3 wood to 21 degree Hybrid to 4 Iron... I wouldnt be without my 4 iron.... I love hitting it..... I can hit low puncy ones also when i need to with it..... Even trying that with the Hybrid fells much harder....

Ditched my hybrid this year too. Didn't like the high flight. Put an inch on my 2 iron but favour the lower flight of the one iron. They had been in my shed for around 15 years (ping eye 2 +).

Glad I didn't get rid of them (or I would have had to buy one from Ebay.......for about a fiver these days!)

Gone from 17 and 22 degree hybrids to my old Rescue Mid 19, so 4i is also back.

Haven't hit it yet. Waiting for a nice frosty morning to thin one off the 1st!

Yeh I carry a 21* 4H and a 4i, they do different jobs, the 4H has a bit more distance and flight for attacking greens whereas the 4i is useful for chasing the ball into some greens. I must admit that I don't hit the 4H great, strangely I find my 5W easier to hit. Don't some people refer to them as "cheating sticks"? Well they don't seem to be for me! :D
