Distance V Accuracy

As suggested earlier I'd look at dispersion for distances as opposed to club number.

In regards to clubs lofts altering with use. They tend to strengthen over time due to to repeated impact with the ground (it's knocking the club closed not open) and more maleable clubs will move (close) more. Wedges in particular can be worth checking to see what your loft gaps really are. If loft is decreasing so is bounce (1 degree for 1 degree).

I'd go for the Titties!

Dispersion for equivalent distances is not all that much different but 2 clubs is too much to give up!

Oooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

You could sell both sets and use the money for a new set of TM Burner 2.0's where TM will guarantee you 2 clubs more distance and all the forgiveness you'll want :)

I'd sell Both sets then go custom fit for something with the length of the titties but the dispersion of the mizzys. Simples!

Oddsocks, can you reccomend me a 7 iron that flys 200 yards with a 1 yard dispertion?

However I would first get a comparison of loft, lie shaft length swing weight etc (and any other difrences). I would probably use the mizzies after knocking the lofts in.

Like Murph and others no way I'd be hitting 5 iron 150 yards. Even a wuss like me can get there with a 6 so I'd go for using shorter irons for the second shot. Lets face it, even for the pros its a law of diminishing returns and the further out and therefore more club you hit, the less often you will get it close.

Looking at the numbers there isn't too much a world of difference in dispersion and of your handicap would hope your short game could cope with the odd missed green

Thanks for the replies and I'm really glad I wasn't the only one who thought it a bit wussy using a 5 iron from 150yrds, also never really thought about working on the dispersion for equal distance clubs.

I'm leaning towards selling both and starting again but money is an issue, so would probably have to just swap for the money I get back, so if anyone wants a set of Titleist 710 cb or Mizuno MP62, offers on a post card please:whistle:
