What is it with these monkeys? Went in there earlier today and everything just seems such an effort. I needed to regrip my golf clubs. No help or advise as to what grips I would need bearing in mind I had my clubs with me. Then after checking out some new irons and holding a couple of wedges they all just continued to watch what was on telly. Is this normal for these types of chains?

Never had that problem at the one near Cambridge, helpful and attentive staff and always happy to tape something up for me to try.

Rumour has it that DG has just bought the Nevada Bob's in Peterborough so will be happy to have one nearby.

What branch was that, I use the Walsall branch now & again & have always found them helpful

I think my views on the level of customer service at the three AG stores close to me are well known and they don't score highly. Not got a DG nearby but the guys at NB in Reading and Farnborough are pretty decent

Yes. Walsall is good.

Just as long as you know what you want - like most chain stores.
