The new pro has no right to EXPECT your custom, he has to try and gain it by offering something that your current supplier doesn't to tempt you away, after all, he may decide to leave in 6 months time and therefore not be loyal to you

I am very much of the opinion that, where possible, you should support your pro. Having said that, I mean support the guy who is making money for himself rather than the guy who makes £7p/h whether you go to him or not while your money lines the pockets of a big company. If a local guy is as cheap as AG etc I will use him, doesn't necessarily have to be the pro at your club. I always give my club's pro a chance to provide what I am after but that is because I have known him for years and hasn't steered me wrong so far, kind of like you're situation with the pro from another club. Look after those who have looked after you!
