Should the diet start on new years eve or new years day?

In other words

Steak and chips or salad for dinner tonight?

Hmmm well for me the excess ended on my birthday (29th) so back on track of healthy eating now. Other new year's resolution is to swear less :o and have been weaning myself into that for a couple of weeks !!

All I'd say as a qualified PT with diet and nutrition qualifications too is - don't go overboard pre diet to make the most of it as a condemned man as it is easy to gain a coupla pounds in a few days !

I've got to start as well, maybe we would have a GM weekly update on our (lack of progress).The 3rd jan for me.

Its better than going to slimmers world and 40 post-menopausal women telling you of their toilet habits, or the menopausal telling you about their cycles.Women are all plonkies as well!!!

healthy eating for me is extra salad with my kebab , but 2012 im gonna try and change my lifestyle
 
medically anything fattening eaten tonight won't show on your body for 7 days, so feast tonight and start tomorrow.

I was going to do the Kelloggs special K diet but SWMBO doesn't want me wearing a red dress:smirk::rofl:
 
First week of January is always a the time to start the big push for me. Diet and more exercise have to be taken care of this time round. Exercise needs to be thought out a bit better and maybe mix some gym and swimming this year. It's only 12 weeks until the season starts, so a bit of focus required :ooo:

We've done the weekly update in previous years so I'd be up for that. It makes you focus on things a bit better, no-one wants to post saying they've put on 3lb instead of losing 3lb.

I'm gettin married in August so wanna look my best lol. Over last year I put on over a stone due to a knee injury which stopped me playing footy. Wanna try and loose it all by August though and drop back down a trouser size
