Decent Pro Shops North of the Tyne

I won a voucher to be used in a pro shop only. My club doesn't have a pro shop and none of the nearby clubs are particularly strong on this front. I know that Seaham has a fabulous shop but that is hardly handy so does anyone know any decent pro shops north of the river?

I fancy using it for some spikeless shoes but my feet are dodgy sizes and so I really need to try them on rather than get them by mail order, hence not wanting to travel too far.

Can it be used in any pro shop? or a pro shop linked to another company? ie.foremost golf.

I'm pretty sure there are many shops available - get on the tinterweb and google some.

Not a fan of the course (or indeed a couple of the pros there), but Parklands has a bigger than average pro shop.

My place has is pretty small in comparison but can order in what you want and will price match the chain stores. Might be worthwhile going to AG, find a pair of shoes that suit you, then pop round there to order them?
