I'm sure NorfolkShaun is a member there. I've played there loads of times over the years.
It's a nice enough place to have a round , not too taxing overall but there are a couple of nasty surprises along the way. Some very short par 4's that are driveable if you're pretty long but also a couple of nasty ones too especially the 16th over the water. The greens arent usually too bad considering all the holiday traffic that goes through them but who knows at this time of year. Plenty of water/ponds/ditches so get clued up on the relevant hazard rules.
The setting is pleasant and you get a couple of good views back over the Hall and surrounding countryside. I know nothing about the Hotel as I've never stayed there but the bar/clubhouse is a nice cosy place.
