Having tried many many many putters these last 7 months (but only bought a couple) I eventually decided a mallet looked good- always shyed away but anyone I play with who uses a mallet usually putts pretty well- at least more consistently than I.

So I bought a TM Monza Spider. Had a match to play yesterday so hadn't even tried it yet.
Well I holed some monsters around 20 feet as well as either holing or lipping the 10-15 footers (2x 3 putts though)..... 30 putts in total

Confidence is high with this........just sharing:rolleyes: :whoo:

Well done Darth been a long time coming, is the hunt definitely over?

..of course......

...I think....

...for now.....;)

its all in the mind and this is giving me confidence today so fingers crossed, but we all know what the golf Gods are like dont we

Glad to hear you like your Spider Darth,I am always trying new putters in spite of the fact my Odyssey is great.I can't seem to stop,it does my head in!

I had the original spider incarnation followed by the itsy little brother. Decided to stick with a blade but have now gone back to a mallet with the odyssey #9 and I feel I get the best of all worlds. Small(ish) head to look down on and a nice balanced club with a good feel

Some people might think my putter is ugly, but i quite like it :D

My ugly mallet simply works!

Never found anything better and had quite a collection at various stages. Only my first Betti (BB23) has ever challenged it.

Got a spare just to keep it honest, but hasn't had a session on the naughty step for years/

Tried this range a while back (at Precision).

Same effect can be achieved with changeable weights. Ths Double winged Centre-shafted one looked daft. A Vega Lim/Edit one (like the BB43!) tried at the same time felt great though!
