Some top players lurk around the level par mark. If the likes of Stenson, Garcia and Kaymer have good days and the leaders go backwards things could be very tight tomorrow.

And the wind is picking up, the roof of the media centre is starting to billow about.

Who would be your dream final pairing tomorrow?

I'd like to see the last 3 groups as Ernie Els/Vijay Singh , Watson/Jimenez and Westwood/Fisher going out last......hoping of course that Ross Fisher's missus doesn't choose this particular day to go into labour

If you were Ross Fisher, and you were on, lets say the 12th ish and leading the Open by 3 shots, and you get the word that your missus is in labour....what would you do?

That would be THE most difficult decision ever!!! I was present at the birth at both of my kids and wouldnt have missed it for the world, but winning The Open is Ross' dream.....tough call.

On the flip side, if you're his missus and you go into labour and he's leading The Open etc, would you tell him?

Not a nice situation to be in...

Els and Goosen, I would enjoy that. 2 of the best swings in the game.

not been much coverage of Garcia today however my misses just asked me why he can't seem to put the ball in the little hole which I feel sums up why he won't be in the final pairings

If the R&A have a choice, I'd recommend putting Lee with Ross. There's no love lost coming down the stretch, but the two English boys might be more comfortable with each other.
I don't think Tom Watson will be there at the end....I'd like it if he was (for him) but otherwise Westwood is the man for me. Ross will have other chances.

Personally, I'm looking forward to it; it's not often there are two worthy Brits in the running.
