Just heard on the news Dale Hill GC has had a freak snow storm. 12 inches of snow fallen over night so anyone planning a game there today better make other plans :(

Bollocks
:D

Just checking you're awake.
Good luck today and isn't there a 2 shot h/cap cut for using an invalid carriage? :D

Buggies are compulsory around Dale Hill's Woosnam course Bob. Lot's of walking green to tee.
I'd not be in one if I had my way
Post piccies tonight. I'm sporting my new GM sponsored shirt

That's all right, there's no need.
No really you don't have to.
We can all imagine you wearing the shirt so you can leave the camera at home.

I can picture it now....
The white chinos, black GM shirt, white AQLs, a buggy and a woman's h/cap certificate

Nope. Black pinstriped "Dunlop" troursers, picked up for £9.99 in Sports Direct the other Sunday. Very smart.
GM polo in a lovely shade of blue.
White AQL's.
Bit undecided over which glove to wear. Blue and white will go with the shoes and shirt but black and white will go with the trousers and shoes. Decisions, decisions. I might wear the blue and white one on the front 9 and swap over on the 10th. Mike can then decide which one will go on the front cover of next months mag.
Will have the buggy and womans handicap certificate though.
;) ;) ;)

won't affect us big hitters

Well, it certainly was a disaster!!
I don't think I have played as badly as that for years. Won't go into detail but let's just say the best thing about the day was the sticky toffee pudding they served up for afters.
Enjoyed the company, the golf was fecking crap!!

When I saw the title I thought Bob must have been there and watched. If he had, he would now be in a mental institute or similar :D As Smiffy has said, the golf was not pretty, but some of the staff were :D - thought we had lost Ray after the meal!
Great company as usual, thanks for the invitation Rob.

I'm too much of a gentleman to reveal the details Rob

That bad huh??? :D

Stop fishing Bob. I'm sworn to secrecy

I will admit that my team could have played better but we were only 4 points off 3rd place.

It was a bit tough out there and I think that the greenkeepers must have thought they had a sense of humour judging by most of the pin placements but I couldn't complain about the greens themselves (apart from not holding any shot in) as I had 25 putts

That actually speaks volumes about the rest of my game though :o :o
