Off to Paphos in a month to play Minthis Hills, Elea & Aphrodite Hills, anyone played them to give me an idea what I can look forward to?

Staying at the Capital Coast Resort, any suggestions where to go for decent nightlife?

Only played the Aphrodite Hills. Nice course. Buggy only (and you need it) - some spectacular holes across ravines, and some a little more straightforward. Was in good nick when I played it (a few years ago). The complex is expensive for everything.

I don't know where the Capital Coast Resort is - I am guessing Paphos somewhere? Paphos is OK all year round. Not a party resort like Ayia Napa - but lively enough. Unfortunately Cyprus is very much egg and chips with Sky sports, but if you look around a bit you can find some nice places. Hire a car and you can pretty much do the island in a day or two. Limassol and Nicosia worth a look, I would give Larnaca / Ayia Napa a swerve at that time of year to be honest.

Elea Golf is pretty good. I played there one day last summer. It was pretty quiet on the weekday I visited. There were a couple of very helpful blokes looking after the carts, practice areas etc, and I got paired up with a local and another tourist.

Decent course with some challenging holes and in generally good condition.

Definitely enjoyed Aphrodite hills, and the temperatures at this time of year should make it really nice. I played in mid August heat and nearly didn't make it to the 19th due to a sever lack of shade

i'm going to aphrodite hills for my honeymoon in september. my pal who used to be a pro there said to take lots of balls because they ass rape you over there as they know people dont want to reduce their luggage allowance

I've been to Aphrodite Hills 3 times and the last time was to get married ! I've played the course there a lot and really enjoy it. Elea is a quality course too , a lot newer, and not as flat as you think its going to be. Both are great courses and are always in great condition. Aphrodite has the best holes, but Elea is probably in better condition as it gets a lot less traffic.

Aphrodite do some great deals in the week, quite often there is 9 & wine in the evening, which is 9 holes and wine tasting afterwards for 25 Euro's .
