Iv'e got the Tour of Britain coming within 100yards of my house tomorrow. The finish is at the Norfolk Showground right where I live but i'll take a quick walk further up the road to catch them on a bend so they slow down a little. I'll be out there trying to catch a glimpse of the Sky lads and a few others I follow.

I've been watching the 'Vuelta' these last 2 weeks too and its been the best race i've seen for years.

Anyone else gonna manage to catch the race near them this week ?

Will be hoping to get to see stage 7[the devon leg]
The boys definately need a cheer after the tour de france.
Also been watching the Vuelta,so many mountain stages.
Froome one tour too much.

Playing at Barnham Broom tomorrow but timed the round so I can come off the 18th, out of the car park and watch the guys go by. Should be a great race.

They came through here during the race a few years back.
Incredible to see the speed they came round the corner and then disappear...
The support cars were screeching tyres on the same corner to keep up.
If the guy in front sneezed about 10 others would have died....they were that close to one another.

Nooooo I'm gutted,on hols when they come to Blackpool and last yrs stage there was cancelled due to high winds grrrrr

Well there I was, coming out of Barnham Broom ready to watch the bikes go past, only to think I could get a better view further up the road. So I waited in a layby, as did another half dozen cars, all sitting there for an hour, radio on listening to the local radio station, they are on their way we all hear. People get out and put chairs out and stand by the cars as the reporter says only minutes away. Then the reporter says the police have just gone through, (everyone starts looking at each other nervously), then the reporter says the race control car has just gone through, (nervous discussion and whispering), the reporter says "I can see the leader".

Cue, the biggest Le Mans start in Norfolk in a desperate bid to get to the finish before Cavendish fell off. Didnt see any cyclists :-(

Wandered over to my spot this afternoon and it was just perfect weather. Loads of people out and having fun too. About 30 police bikes came through first before we caught sight of the riders. Saw Cav and Wiggo go flying through in the lead group with Sky mates around them and they were winiding it up for the last 2 km. Watched everyone else tootle past and got a few piccies. Walked the few hundred yards back home to watch it on tv as i'd got it recording. The missus says she saw me on the tele but she wouldnt give away what happened. That was some smash up going into the showground.
